Nigel Mansell makes his debut at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on May 12, 1993 to practice for the "Indianapolis 500." This was arguably the most exciting "Indianapolis 500" practice day I ever attended.  (Bob Jennings photos)

On November 2, vote to protect U.S. sovereignty. Elect President Bush.

Congratulations to Ryan Newman for his victory in the "MBNA America 400" at Dover Downs on September 26. Sorry Ryan! I almost forgot again, but it's easy for an Indy car fan to get lost in the NASCAR shuffle.
Congratulations to Tony Stewart for another victory in Sirius at the Glen on August 15, 2004. Chalk another Nextel Cup win for the "Rushville Rocket."
Congratulations to Tony Stewart for his victory in the "Tropicana 400" at Chicagoland Speedway; at last a win in 2004.
Congratulations to Ryan Newman for his victory in the "DHL 400" at Michigan. Ooops, I almost forgot about that win. Sorry Ryan!
Congratulations to my "all time favorite racer" Al Unser Sr. for winning Dave "the King" Wilson's "Fantasy 500" on WIBC (1070 AM) in the 1970 "Indianapolis 500" winning Johnny Lightning Colt - Ford. Big Al, you are the all time champion of the "Indy 500."
